Anyhow, back to business.
If any of your stomachs think like mine, then breakfast is the business, no matter what time of day it is. That being said, I went to try the vittles at the Buttermilk Truck that I'd read was making a stop local here in the valley not too long ago.
I know I've voiced my opinion on the trend these trucks have spawned, but reading about owner Gigi Pascual's concept/mission statement and knowing that breakfast items are involved, I had to, at the very least, check it out. The menu is short and simple, but yours truly being ever the fatass, it was still hard to narrow down what I wanted to try.
I thought I'd show up early and avoid the line, but sure enough, there was a wait regardless.
Since my ladyfriend Jan couldn't decide what she wanted over the phone, I just grabbed a smittering of what I could gather was good. Sorry, my pics lacked detail in my dark-ass room.
(L-R) breakfast sliders (toasted Hawaiian bread with shoyu scrambled eggs, sauteed onions, and Portuguese sausage), Red Velvet chocolate chip pancake bites, buttermilk biscuit breakfast sandwich w/chicken apple sausage, & rosemary garlic hash browns
How was it all? Jan and I unanimously said, "PIFF!" Check out their weekly schedule and try it out for yourself. I'm determined to try their late-night items, and Jan's sad I didn't get the mini donuts as well. (Pig!) Definitely worth checking out.
